I started martial arts training in my 30’s. I had to learn everything from the beginning, how to do a push up, how to do a crunch etc.; the very basic exercise movements that younger cohorts could do so easily. I was introduced to kettlebell training as a supplemental training to martial arts training because I virtually had zero core strength and was very inflexible. That is when I discovered the joy of living with my body that is stronger, healthier and more flexible. I formally started training with kettlebells at USA Kettlebells in 2006. I was certified as RKC Level I instructor in 2008.
I specialize in cardiovascular strengthening, core strengthening and flexibility. My philosophy in fitness is to work hard to build a body that you can use in everyday life.
