  • What is a Kettlebell?
Kettlebell is a cast iron ball with a handle.
  • Where are you located?
We are located at 3107 E. 42nd Street in Minneapolis.
  • When are your classes offered?
We offer number of classes. Check out the complete class schedule and find the time that is suited for your schedule.
  • What should I wear to workouts?
You should wear regular workout clothes you would normally wear at a gym. You need to wear shoes that do not have thick soles. We recommend Converse or wrestling shoes, or bare feet.
  • What do I need to bring to workouts?
Definitely yourself. We have a water cooler but no cups. Bring your bottle of water (it can be empty!).
  • Who are the instructors? Why should we take classes from them?
We are a bunch of Kettlebell enthusiasts who love to work out and want to share our positive experience with Kettelbells. We are certified RKCs by Pavel and Russian Kettlebell Federation.
RKC is a certification program offered by Russian Kettlebell Federation. We have taken and passed the vigorous testing on physical and mental strength as well as safety to teach and practice Kettlebells.
  • How much are the classes?
We have various membership packages to choose from. You can find the perfect membership package.
  • I have seen the videos and photos on internet, and they are all big like weight lifters. I’m not looking to be bulky. Is this for me?
Yes. You don’t have to be a weight lifter or look like one to exercise with Kettlebells. You are in charge of what you want to become and how you want to look. Southside Kettlebells is here to help you get there.
  • I’m not confident to do vigorous workouts. Is this too advanced for me?
It can be as vigorous or not mild as you want it to be. That is the beauty of Kettlebell. All of the movements are natural like walking or jogging so it is easy on your body. The only different is just that your body will realize there are parts of you that has never been worked out the way we do!
  • I have not worked out forever. Is this too advanced for me?
Not at all! We all have to start somewhere. And Kettlebell is a great way to start. You can start with as simple as static push-ups (push-ups without pushing up or down) or just standing. You’d be amazed how much work it involves!
